This year's Radio Workshop will be a special joint meeting of the Northland Antique Radio Club and the Audio Society of Minnesota. Award-winning analog audio expert Wally Malewicz will look at the history of high fidelity in his presentation entitled 'From Mono 78 RPM to Super Stereo'. He'll take us from the beginnings of electrical recording technology to a current system employing a Dynavector Super Stereo processor which enhances two-channel stereo playback with ambience retrieval information to give us the very latest and finest in audio reproduction. Whether you're an audiophile or an antique radio buff, you won't want to miss this special presentation. OUTDOOR SWAP MEET BEFORE THE PRESENTATION Refreshments will be furnished by the Northland Antique Radio Club. Admission is free to all current Pavek Museum, NARC, and Audio Society members (and immediate family members). Membership forms will be available for anyone wishing to join the club. Don't forget, if it's nice outside, people will start showing up around 10 AM for the outdoor trunk sales. |
